* 28 *

Well here we are at the last day of the month already, time to show you my photos for the January Scavenger Hunt.

An Abandoned Building - this is the practice tower at the old fire station in town.

A Stained Glass Window - the main window in Sunderland Minster, gorgeous colours.

A Goldfish - I was in two minds whether or not to use this as the reflective surface entry as there is actually only one fish here .

Yarn - I have to say I didn't have too much trouble with this one !

Playground Equipment - I did show you some of my other choices but this was the one I settled with ( Hub chose it )

Library - These windows are in the childrens part of our library and are 100 years old.

A Tombstone Over 100 Years Old - I was lucky enough to have quite a few to choose from in this category but went with this one as I liked the ' lost at sea ' .

My Front Door - no explanation needed here I think.

A Reflective Surface - this was also one of the choices for playground equipment.

Now I better give you a warning about the next two and my apologies in advance if I cause any offence or if you have a delicate stomach. The first photo was actually taken last Summer whilst we were in our Town library 'childrens ' art room. At the time I had no idea this was there and Hub only noticed it last week when he was looking back through the boys photos. The second ' nature' is something that me and Gabe found on our beach walk last week .

Something Out Of Place .

Nature .

Bubbles .

I really enjoyed doing this and am looking forward to next month.

Hahaha -- Very Naughty!!! Your photos are FABULOUS!!! I LOVE the tombstone and those library windows {swoon}!!! I'll get mine up tonight -- you'll laugh when you see my library one. Great minds and all. This is such a fun challenge -- thank you again for mentioning it. And btw, did you put your name on the Mr. Linky on Kathy's blog -- I didn't see it there!

What a giggle that gave me ! and my dog rolled in something like in your last picture yesterday !

A lovely set of photos - the tombstone quite chilling as hubby is a sailor. The library windows are beautiful. I also love your headder picture of the swans on the ice - beautiful.

Hello - I arrived here from the link list at postcards from the pp!

Lovely photos... it took me a good few seconds to spot the something out of place! I can't believe that was on the wall!

I found the hunt a bit of a challenge as i was indoors a lot, moping (first ever attack of winter blues!) but I enjoyed it and can't wait to see the next list!

I have just caught up on your last month. I like the idea of the scavenger hunt. I would give it a go but I am going back to school to study digital photography so had better see how I cope with that first. I was a terrible student when I went to school the first time. Love the library drawing I bet who ever put it there had a great laugh.

Took me a while to spot it but then ... What a brilliant photo. Thanks for the laughs it brought!

I love how the tombstone is nestled amongst the fir, a lovely example. Are your egg cosy bunnies made out of that yarn? Only reading through your comments did I realise what was out of place! It looks like either Milo was totally oblivious to it, or was making a good job of pretending he hadn't noticed it! x

Haha! I have to confess to speeding through the photos a little but the something out of place picture did catch my eye and I quickly scrolled back up, yup it's a big willy! I take it it was in the local library?
