While we were out for our walk on Sunday Royal Mail tried to deliver my birthday present -- the one that Hub had ordered from Amazon a while ago and was apparantly despatched a week ago.
We'd love to know when Royal Mail started doing deliveries on a Sunday for starters ??
This now meant that we would have to wait 48 hours before we could go collect it , which was last night.
I had no idea what I was getting and hadn't asked for anything so it was all a big surprise for me .... I much prefer surprises. I was never one of these children who went searching for their Christmas/ Birthday presents .
Anyway , this was a HUGE surprise .... look at what I got........
A Kindle ......... whoop whoop ....... so many books at my fingertips . A big thank you to my Hub , definately better than step ladders !!
Thank you for all the get well wishes from yesterday . I'd been to the Drs that afternoon for a flu jab and they'd also taken bloods to do some tests so I was just feeling a bit battered .

Oh wow! Enjoy :) I've downloaded a kindle app on my ipod and am enjoying the free first chapters feature to try out a book before you buy. You'll have to let us know what books you download and if you recommend any. x

Oh, what a lovely surprise - I shall be interested to see how you get on with it. I love reading - but I actually really love the books themselves - not sure if I'd like a kindle as much!

I bought myself a Kindle for Xmas and it arrived Thursday and I'm already in love. Wasn't sure I would like it but how wrong can I be.
