Wooo Hooo, today I passed my Theory Test, I was so nervous I can tell you so I dread to think what it will be like when the real test looms. It hasn't actually been booked yet. Hopefully I can be driving by the summer holidays so I can take the boys on days out. My ideal car would be one of these. Hub bought me this as a pressie, it's the closest I'll come to owning a real one.
Excuse the fuzzy pic..
After dropping M off at school I decided to go to the park to see just what damage had been done by the horrendous winds and frosts that we,ve had over the past few days. Broken branches everywhere but no trees down this time. Unfortunately the Rhodadendron is no longer, the frost just killed off all the buds. I did see half a dozen long tailed tits flying around though getting all matey and flirty and ready for spring. I love those little birds. I also saw ....
Mahonia in bud
And my first Buttercup of the year
Isn;t yellow so cheery.....

Hello Sweetie! Thanks for your comments and concern. I am doing fine after my accident, although I have a few twinges now & then in my back and neck. No biggy. Nice to hear from you!

beautiful flower pics!
congrats on the theory test, gosh I'd hate to have to take my driving test again, no chance I'd pass, I'm hopeless at reversing, and go out of my way to avoid doing it.
I'd like one of those vans though, - a yellow one!
Hey, congratulations on passing your test, didn't have them in my day, just the examiner asking a few questions. Love the van, wouldn't it be great to own one, I'd set up a mobile bric-a-brac and craft shop in mine, with vintage flowery curtains of course!
Lucy!
Congratulations and good luck in the next part!
I love long-tailed tits - we used to have a family of them in a previous garden. Such fun to watch.
I didn't notice the VW bus photo when I commented before! My husband has one that he bought a couple years ago. It's a '67 split window, and it's in a million pieces right now because SOMEDAY he's going to re-build and re-paint it!
