3rd April 2010
I'm a bit obsessed with trees (as if you hadn't guessed already )--- thought I'd show you a few pics , also from last weekend that have joined the many now clogging up Hubs hard drive ..
It's gotten to the point where I will take pics in black and white and then in colour to see which I like best . It's often hard to choose.
This one below has so many branches it looked like some kind of alien reaching to the sky.
I didn't realise that the two above are just about connected - I love the top one
I'd like to find a tree, one of those huge ones in a field all by itself and take 4 photos from the exact spot , one every season . Then get the pics blown up into prints and hang them side by side on a wall in my house .
Ok, boring tree post over :-)

No worries here - I'm a tree junkie too.
Beautiful pics. I just love how you take advantage of the wonderful areas around you.
You should do it! Find that tree and take the pictures! Hope you're having a Happy Easter with the boys!
The same tree in every season. I love that idea. I hope you are all having a great Easter weekend. x
I love trees too! Lovely pic's Lisa, thanks for sharing.

These are very beautiful images - I never tire of gazing at trees either.
I hope you're having a lovely Easter x
I've been trying to do a four seasons of a tree for ages now - this tree in fact http://alkyproject365.blogspot.com/2009/02/no-wonder-my-nose-was-cold.html, but I can never catch it in the autumn for some reason - it loses its leaves in no time flat :-D.
That was not a boring tree post! I love trees!!! I think your tree photos are striking and I like the idea of taking pictures of the same tree throughout the different seasons. x
I love trees, keep them coming! Me and Ed are planning on growing some trees and doing a spot of guerilla tree planting!
Trees are magestic and beautiful. They create such interesting shapes.
Your post is perfect as far as I'm concerned! Some wonderful trees there.
I wonder if either of these two sites (check out their lists of heritage/champion trees) might have a tree near enough to you to get to in each season? http://www.treeregister.org/champion-trees.shtml
