1st April 2010

Before I tell you all about what we did last Saturday a.m. I have to give a big wave to Mrs Locket who we spent a few lovely hours this morning. Most of it was spent in my local wool shop where a few bargains were picked up by a certain Mrs L , whilst I , for once was very restrained and only bought a pair of Ben 10 socks ...

So , last Saturday a.m. we went to a place called Whitworth Hall, once again not too far from where we live. We got to walk in a field with deer which was quite surreal , but they were very friendly.

Pose for photos beside huge tree trunks and lions.

We admired the listed Victorian rose arbour , the water wheel in the dene and the old greenhouses in the walled garden.

And I wondered what it would be like to live here - looking out on to all this ?

Those two boys are looking just as cute as ever! Were they afraid of the deer -- I'll bet it was fun. And a get-together with Mrs. Locket -- lucky, lucky for BOTH of you!!!
