25th April 2010

Have you seen my new picture on the left hand side , the one for The Rather Lovely Rescue Sheep Raffle ? It's being organised by the lovely Tracy from Cupcakes At Home and I'm busy knitting something which I'm going to donate as one of the prizes. Go check it out.

Day one of healthy eating is not going to bad . Hub made me scrambled eggs for breakfast with fresh orange .

Lunch consisted of a yummy mango, crackers with soft cheese and grapes. I'd eaten the mango before I even thought to take a picture ..

Dinner was pork steak, roast vegetable couscous , feta cheese and corn on the cob . It was the first time the boys had tasted couscous and it was a resounding success although most of Gabe's ended up on the floor!
Snacks so far have been nuts and raisins , more grapes and a couple of falafel . At this precise moment in time a glass of wine would go down a treat but seeing as how the boys are in their jamas and hub is at a cricket match there is no chance of me popping to the shop -- ho hum.

No reason for this last photo , just thought I'd throw it in as it sums them up to a tee!!

I too am trying to think up something for Tracy and her rescue sheep!
Good luck with the healthy eating, looking good so far.

Brilliant picture of the boys! Sounds like the food is going well. Hope a bottle of wine materialised after the cricket finished! Juliex

Great picture of Milo eating his corn on the cob! The healthy eating plan looks tasty so far! I try not to snack too much now but tend to choose wholegrain foods as they seem to fill me up for longer. I have changed to brown basmati rice and wholewheat pasta and granary bread and don't tend to get as hungry! A banana sandwich with wholegrain bread is a nice snack!

Your new knitting project loohs sweet and for a good cause.

I am on day 3 of a healthy eating challenge too - the first week or so is always hard when I still crave chocolate and sweet things (especially with all the baking that goes on here!) Good luck!

I feel really guilty now because I know I should be starting a diet again but I really can't be bothered! Your meals sound delicious though! Lucy x
