2nd July 2010

Wow, what a busy week we've had here and as for the weather , phew it's been hot . Just thought I'd share a few random photos that have been taken over the past few days.

Sitting and playing in buttercup fields.

Finding some wild orchids in the same fields.

Milo using chopsticks for the first time .

Getting cherries that we can actually eat from our little trees that are grown in pots .

Tiny sweet strawberries from the plant that " never" stops flowering.

A couple of happy miniature sunflowers that are growing where my failed vegetable patch was!!

Another monster but this time he has fluffy eyes.

Well, next week is going to be busy, busy, busy as it's the boys birthday party next Saturday and there is sooooo much still to do . I'll probably be M.I.A for a little while so hope you all have a lovely week and I'll see you soon.

Hope all you " happy swapees" managed to get in touch with your partners ?

Gorgeous pictures Lisa. Your fruit looks delicious, do your trees do well - I fancy getting a mini apple tree for pot growing this autumn. I love your furry eyed monster! Good luck with the party planning this week.

SAH mum is THE MOST IMPORTANT JOB IN THE WHOLE WORLD! Don't let people put you down, just ENJOY every minute so that when you get to my age (born as the war ended ... so you can work it out!) you can look back with joy, happiness in the job you did, and satisfaction as you look at "your Men!"
bless you, Val

That field is fantastic - proper wild flowers, just the way it should be.
Well done Milo with the chopsticks. That's something I haven't been brave enought to try with the kids, it would help if I knew what to do first I guess!
You're doing really well with the garden produce. You're like me with a v. small garden aren't you? I like the idea of mini fruit trees and will need to check it out.
Have made brief contact with twiggypeasticks and will do so properly hopefully in the next few days.....
