Update 3

Week 3 update already, last week I thought I had done quite well and was quite ok about stepping on the scales, but oh dear what is this I see before my eyes 1lb on. That can't be right so off the scales I stepped put another 20p in the machine and stepped back on again - still 1lb on. Note to self - will bo better next week. But as I'm writing this the postman has just arrived and in the parcel for me is some special chocolate - can I resist until my next post.. I must and you must wait too I'm afraid to see what kind of chocolate it is :-)

Now I seem to have found my crafting mojo this month as apart from the shorts which are now finished , after solving the machine problem. I have finished another bear.
Sally is a bit of a tomboy so I made her some little dungarees for when she climbs trees and the straps crossover at the back so they don't fall down and get in her way.

My first set of bunting is finished - Milo wasn't too happy here but taking pictures of bunting isn't easy. Making the bunting itself was easy though thanks to the Audrey and Maud pattern which I won.

I'm nearly finished my second lot. I've appliqued letters onto this and last night was practising using the machine to sew around the letters. I won't show you my attempts as you might do yourselves an injury laughing!! These are the colours Milo chose as this is going to hang in his room when it's finished.

Hope you are all having a lovely week and the weather isn't too bad wherever you are .

don't worry too much about the 1lb, it will come off again, well just as long as it's only a samllish parcel of chocolate!
I've managed to break our scales so I can't tell you if I've had a good week, must go and find some of those 20p a weigh ones.
great job with the bunting, hope Milo looks happier with it up in his room..

Awww, don't worry about the 1lb - two steps forward and one step back is still going to get you there.

The bunting is fabulous - I must have a go at some of that one day.

Milo sure is a lucky boy to be getting some bunting in his bedroom. It takes some effort to hold it up! No problems about the 1lb Lisa, weight fluctuates the whole time. Good luck with resisting the charms of the chocolate. x

Another adorable bear! And your bunting turned out great. I finally posted about mine yesterday. I think I took the cheater route and just pinked the edges! x

Your bunting looks terrific. Well done. Glad you found the pattern easy. I love the colours you have chosen too. Can't wait to see the next one. I really must make one for my little one's room.

I just love your little bear, especially with the dungarees. I wish I knew how to knit like that.

Don't worry about the weight - next week it will adjust itself (that's if you resist your new chocolate bar). Hang in there.

I love Sally's dungarees! Poor Milo, I bet his arms ached having to stretch them so!

Hi Lisa,

I put on 1/2 lbs last week and I could not go this week as I had to work. I have sort of lost my mojo at the moment in most things I am still feeling a bit urgh. I need to pull myself together.

Keep going

Gorgeous bunting...I have been looking at bunting for the camper this evening....I really should have a go and make some. On the Happy Campers Website Forum, someone had collected lots of CK samples, even the oil cloths and made bunting from all the various pieces - great idea!

Hiya, panelling is called Easi Panel and I got it at Homebase, they only do it in store not online. The website for it is www.easipanel.co.uk although it doesnt seem to be working at mo! I think Wickes might stock it as well! I know B and Q did a slightly diffrent version.
Happy hunting.......Claire x

Keep up the good work! Diets are a it up and down aren't they, don't be too hard on yourself. I'd say 1lb is just a blip and could be more to do with the scales, fluid retention, time of the month etc rather than how you've eaten. My mum's a good dieter and finds looking at the pattern of weight she's lost over a month,(with weekly targets to keep her on track) a big help. Don't know if that's any help? You'll be doing the rest of your body lots of good with the healthy eating etc so you deserve a pat on the back (or a nibble of that chocolate!). Swings and roundabouts I guess (says she who really needs to get rid of a stone or so!)
Stephx - fab bunting btw, my boys love theirs. Milo's room will look great.
