I Can't Think Of A Title!!

Am I the only one who thinks the Title is the hardest part of a Blog post to come up with ? I always write my post and then end up coming back to it - oh well.
Anyway what else have I done this week apart from passing my test of course ......

I've got about 3/4 of the quilting done -

I took Tess's advice and just used my normal foot, even though it's stitch in the ditch it's really hard and most of the lines are far from straight but it's getting there. I think maybe my wadding is a bit thick ..

I've also finished this cowl, it's a christmas present for the MIL . I was given the wool and have a bit left so might whip up a pair of wrist warmers to go with it.

It was my first attempt at knitting in the round and only took a few hours so I was really pleased with it. I found the pattern on Ravelry but the lady also has it on her blog so if anyone fancies a go here it is . I did 12 blocks of 10 but think maybe 10 blocks would have been enough but I did use an Aran wool so I think it just depends on the type of wool as to how many blocks you do. I have to say thank you to Milo for being a rather reluctant model as the pictures of me with it on were just awful..

I've posted my magazine swap and will be posting my Christmas swap in the next couple of days. There is another WIP nearly finished and another one I've just started. I'm beginning to wish I'd started my Christmas presents a bit sooner!!

We've also been doing a bit of leaf playing

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend and are enjoying this lovely sunny weather.

edited a few hours later -- How do you know when you have eaten far too many original Pringles ? The inside of your lips shrivel and go numb hmmmm

Titles are difficult aren't they? I often leave the title until last.

That quilt looks fab, and the cowl is gorgeous.

Take care. x

I totally agree with your comment about titles - I find them really tough! I've been very inspired about your Christmas present progress. I feel dreadful as I have all of these wonderful ideas but none of them have yet come to fruition.

Milo looks hilarious in that, very unwilling. Your blanket is on my blog by the way!

I have the same issue with titles - i always want to think of a clever, snappy title - but usually just end up describing the post! Love the look of your new quilt - it is coming along famously.

Titles are the hardest for me too.
Your are making some good progress on your presents :)
It looks very nice by you-we had snow today it didn't stick to the ground. But it was really big snowflakes and coming down fast-really pretty.

Funny enough, for me any way the title seems to be the easiest part of my blog, don't ask me why it just comes into my mind so quickly.
strange, huh?
Love your new little model, he wears your new creation very well!

I am always putting the titles in last! I might try and see if I can get my boy's to model for me, at 16 and 14 I don't see why not. Lovely quilt! xxxx

Wow - that quilt looks great and the cowl is really cool - I might have to find a crochet pattern for one.

Love the 'playing' picture - too fun!

Titles definitly stump me - especially when the post is a hodge podge.

The quilt is coming along nicely! I love the cowl, it will be a great gift. I also have a hard time with titles.

Your quilt looks so great Lisa! And what a beautiful cowl. I may have to try my hand at one of those! x

the quilt is looking great, I guess not having the walking foot might be making it feel harder to feed the wadding through (but then having never used one....)what thickness is the wadding??? love the cowl, have you got an easy pattern for wrist warmers, I keep looking at some, and they always look really complicated (say's she who thinks anything other than plain knit is REALLY scary!!!))

Lovely post. I like the Pringle observation! Milo looks very cute with the cowl on!

Yuuummmm! Pringles! How's the rest of your quilting going??

I always have a problem with titles too, you are certainly not alone. I love the "cowl". Knitting is something I have always wanted to learn but havent yet. Oh yeah, spot on about the pringles; weird huh?

I love the quilt! I have only machine quilted a few times, but i find it quite tiring to move all that fabric around in the machine! Love the look, though!

Pringles are so cute. The original is my fave and i like eating them on the salty side!

I agree titles are the hardest part...no the photography....no keeping the crafted item from becoming one of the kids toys long enough to take the photographs...no the title....It's all hard for me!

Well you've been really busy haven't you. Love the cowl and quilt. As for titles, mine are always called "blah" right until the very last minute, they are always so hard to come up with!
