This year I decided that I was going to try and plan ahead with my knitted items so I had things ready in my
shop for special events like Easter, Halloween, Valentines Day etc. So I feel quite proud of myself that I've actually managed to get something in there already.
This little girl is called Oona and she has a patterned heart on her jumper and is also holding a little knitted heart which she is hoping to give someone on Valentines Day.
This second little girl is called Maura and she was a bit of a test as I made her using two different yarns twisted together to see what the effect would be and I think she turned out okay. I might try doing this again but with two yarns of a similar shade rather than being completely different.
I'm thinking of making some little lambs for Easter, which I know is months away but like I said .... I'm planning ahead and I've never done a lamb before and maybe some ducks too ... oooh lots of ideas whooshing around in this little head of mine.

Your plans all sound delicious. I think the effect of twisting those two yarns together is simply wonderful. Do it again!

It is good to get ahead stocking up your shop and I am sure you will feel all the better for it! I like both of the bunnies equally. I love the jumper on the first one and the two tone yarn on the second one. The sheep/lambs sound like a great idea too for Easter. x
