I just thought I'd join in with the " things I'm loving right now " blog posts that I've seen popping up everywhere.
these fabrics are gorgeous , you can't go wrong with a bit of red and white.

I love these cupboards built into the alcoves, we have the perfect alcove for one just like this but hub doesn't like them !!
Our bedroom is in desperate need of a makeover but this lovely bedding set would just not go with our lilac shagpile ............ shudder.
How great is this for Valentines day - instructions on how to make it are here.
Doilies sewn onto a lampshade ...
Maybe if I put both boys in the same room then I can have Gabes room for all my crafty things -- ooh, now there's a thought.
These might be things I'm loving but what I'm looking for are vintage keys and thimbles and some sticks of cotton .
Any ideas apart from Etsy and Ebay?
I've totally lost my list of where these pics came from so if they are yours please let me know and I'll add the credit... I'm a numpty sometimes ..

We put our boys in the same room over Christmas and they love it! I love it to - I can peek in there and see both my boys - warm my heart! It was a bit bumpy at first (mosting in the morning - John needs a bit more sleep) but now they are used to it. I say go for it!
carboot sales for the keys and thimbles? not quite the time of year is it though.? what are they for?
Beautiful pictures! When my boys were your boys' ages, they loved sharing a room -- I think it comforted them to know that someone else was there at night. I LOVE that cute boy's room picture you showed. (Well all of the pictures, really!) I find thimbles at antique stores, although the really nice ones are usually expensive.
What a lovely bunch of things. I really like the keys. They would look so good mounted in some kind of a frame and hung on the wall. It is fun to day dream while looking at all the lovely things that are out there.

I request a picture of the lilac shagpile please ;-) x
oh i wish i had 2 boys or 2 girls then i could do the bunk bed thing - i have a girl and a boy and they just wont share a room they are so selfish ;-)
love the keys as well!
i did recognise the living room with the alcove cupboards in the 2nd picture - its Julias house from vintageheaven blog (link is on my sidebar) but i know her house has been in a mag and the pics are on a few phote websites too :-)

We put the boys in together at Christmas (they are 2 1/2 and 4 1/2) slightly against my wishes as I have dreadful memories of having to share with my sister but they love it and I find it a lot easier putting them to bed.
I too, keep trying to hatch plans for the extra room but hubby refuses to let me use it :(
