16th June 2010

edited to add more swapees 17th June

The weather the past few days has been absolutely glorious , perfect blue skies and no sign of the rain clouds that have been hanging around for so long.

Perfect for a little boy to be a sunflower in his school play all about protecting yourself in the sun. Something mammy didn't do today and now has one bright red arm...

Perfect for finally being able to take some decent photos of finished items.

Pod, another monster.

Sage, a bunny made entirely from organic cotton.

Darcy , a cute little ballerina mouse made from a pattern by Dollytime.

Two hats made for presents kindly modelled by Gabe and bribed with pea pods to do so.

For some reason the second one turned out a bit bigger!!

Not as big as the firemans helmet though..kindly loaned by some very nice firemen at the school Summer Fayre.

I really like sage - she is very pretty and I guess very soft. I have some organic cotton and I just want to cuddle it, sadly I'm not skilled enough to turn it into anything useful like sage!

I meant to say that I would love to make someone 'happy'. Loving the newest monster addition to the Periwinkle household!

I like the knits Lisa, especially that one-eyed monster! The boys both look a picture of (happy)ness in all the photos. I bet Gabe thought you couldn't see that tongue poking out from under the hat! x

I love the bunny in the organic cotton. Is it the sublime organic cotton? It looks lovely.
