A New Trend ???

It's been quite an eventful day today... I had a little trip to the hospital to get two moles on my face checked out. The Doctor said they were fine but she froze them with liquid nitrogen, said they'll probably blister or go crunchy and then drop off ---- lovely. Better to be safe than sorry though.

Hub was off work so we went shopping for sleeping bags, next week is another school holiday and we are off to Ullswater on a little camping holiday..... lordy, lordy, it is our first family camping trip and I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to it!!! Any camping tips will be gratefully recieved ?

So what's the take on Gabe's new hat , do you think it's a trend that will catch on ?

I have a tip, if you do have hook up...take a small heater with you.
We did on our last trip and now I will not ever camp without it, keeps the damp out, towels and clothes dry, Wonderful Heat Perfect!
Love the hat and hope those mole remnents drop off quickly.

bionospy...sounds very much like what you had done...were they near the nose?

Absolutely!!

I wonder if it is a boy thing as when my son was roughly three he used to do the same with empty boxes of shreddies - boys.

take care,

Oh dahhhlink, what a divine hat!

My advice re: camping. Don't. There, that was helpful, wasn't it? :-D x

Wow, he's growing up so fast! Camping tips: we have a camping checklist which we use for packing every time. Most importantly, I find alcohol (not forgetting bottle openers/corkscrew etc) the key to a relaxing trip...

A face as cute as that can get away with a hat like that .

I can see the hat being the next big thing; I will look out for it at Chelsea.
I hope you have a lovely time away camping!

What a forward thinking little guy you have there - repuropsing and all! ;-) I can't remember if I left a comment the last post (it's been kinda crazy here) - I love G's name! Thanks for sharing ... and as far as the camping trip goes - well ... I haven't the slightest clue. I'm more of a camper/hotel gal vs the great wide open!

Enjoy your camping trip - lots of layers and blankets is the key and of course some knitting to do round the campfire! (although nothing too complicated...)

So cute - your two are just so scrummy.
I hope the sun shines next week for you. I'm sure you'll have a fabulous time. We first took my son camping when he was about 18 months and he loved it.
When my son was about four we got him his own torch and went monster hunting at night in some woods next to the campsite, I've never seen anyone so excited.
I def. recommend plenty of wine to keep out the cold and a BBQ+supplies as the kiddos never stop eating with all the fresh air!!
