Nearly there !!

Firstly Happy New Year to everyone , can you believe it's 2009 already.. it doesn't seem like two minutes since we were all panicking about would we have enough time to get all the presents made in time.... I hope everyone managed. I got all mine done and it seemed as though they were all liked, I've even had an order for another cowl. I did knit one for my mam too but didnt get around to taking a photo - sorry.
So , has anyone made any resolutions - apart from the obligatory " lose weight " !! I think mine is just to ' find me ' again. Somehow I've lost myself since having the boys and I'm not sure if I like it or not . Even just a bit of me would be a start..... let's see how it goes.
Thank you for all the well wishes, we are all so much better now . We;ve been out and about again , this time to a place called High Force, this is the highest fall of unbroken water in England. It was freezing when we got there so didnt stay long but it was quite spectacular.

The Fairy Dell we passed on the way .

Nearly there,

Hub is back at work now so little outings like these will down to weekends now , at least when he's off at weekends they will be . I'm getting the hang of this driving malarky finally..

Now Dancin Puffin ( who has the cutest dog in the world ) has tagged me to show the fourth photo in the fourth picture file stored on my computer. Thing is I don't store my pics in files so I've borrowed this one from Hub

Part of the tag is to explain the photo but it;s self explanatory really. Baby G's first bathtime with a very bemused Milo . I think this is the only time he's ever cried in the bath!!

Now ..... I'm not going to do anymore posts until January 9th when I will be having a little giveaway - hopefully you will all join me then and fingers crossed I'll have everything finished in time :-)
See you then

Aw - such a cute picture! Trevor is very flattered to be named the cutest dog in the world! :) It has been very cold but it sounds like you had a good time on your trip out. I look forward to seeing more loveliness from Periwinkle this year x

Happy New Year Lisa. Good to know you are all feeling better. Thanks so much for offering to send the Sew Hip mag. I have actually ordered the second issue but it appears the third issue has also come out. Glad you like Henrietta as I was so happy with how she turned out. I didn't want to let her go actually and will have to make another. So would you like to do a swap for Issue 3? Any Aussie mags you're after?? Or maybe some fabric - I know a great place to get some!! Or maybe some Aussie wool? Let me know what you would like. Best wishes for a productive, healthy 2009!

The falls look gorgeous!! Did you find any fairies in the dell? Baby G looks tiny - and mildly upset - oh I'm a bit scared of giving our new bunny its first bath - just a couple of months to go .... eeek!

The waterfall looks so exhilerating and dramatic! Your baby looks so tiny in the picture but I bet it feels as though it was yesterday. I hope you 'find' yourself this year. You will eventually as the boys grow older.x

Oooh, I had an over-bath baby bath just like that. It was from Mothercare I think!

Lovely photos of your outing. So pleased you are feeling better.

Hello and Happy New Year to you and yours. Lovely photo. Is that waterfall the one where you have to walk through a pub to get to it? or is that my hazy memories/vivid imagination :)

Happy New year! So you guys succumbed to the lurgy as well, it really seems to have done the rounds this christmas. My poor dad came down with it on Xmas eve and was wiped out for the whole of xmas and the new year. I am so glad it is 2009.
I am really excited at winning kellie's giveaway - my little boy has already claimed ownership - now I need to teach myself her quilting techniques and make her flower pattern cushion for my daughter.

I haven't heard of High Force, the waterfall is spectacular, what a great place to visit, I would love to. I don't tend to make resolutions, I cannot keep them, how many times have I vowed to lose weight? Happy New Year to you all, and I am glad you are all feeling better now. x

Hello to you, thank you for your good luck wishes. I know what you mean about finding yourself again after having children. We do tend to put ourselves at the bottom of the list don't we. High Force looked stunning, it would certainly blow the cobwebs away.
