Milo is I presume like most 4 year olds and more often than not has us in stitches with what he says. Thursday on the way home from school was a prime example of a ' Milo -ism '..
Milo -- mammy I've been invited to a birthday party tomorrow.
Me -- tomorrow , who's having a party tomorrow, that's a bit short notice.
Milo -- ' A '
Me -- now which one of your friends is 'A' again?
Milo -- the one with hair like a toilet roll
Me -- !!!!!
I really must start noting more of these down I think.
I finished this little rabbit in time for a first birthday on the 19th. I was quite pleased with the jumper, my second attempt at intarsia. Pattern for this letter was from Julie.
You may or may not have noticed that I've started to keep lists down the right hand side. I think that this year I would like to keep track of what I've crafted , read ,etc. I don't think I'm doing too bad so far, the films are watched while I'm knitting or on the " poo poo" ( computer ) as G calls it.
and these are my first Snowdrops of 2009.......

Yay! The snowdrops mean spring is really coming. This winter's really got me down - can't wait for a bit of light and warmth.
You will start getting more and more of those chats with Milo - brace yourself!
The bunny is fab. x
Hilarious they do say the most funny things it's good to blog about what they say as there easily forgotten those funny little moments!
Love the rabbit those are early snowdrops!
Sarahx
Milo is so cute! Great idea to jot it down as they grow so quickly and you do forget! Love the monogrammed jumper for the bunny.
The snowdrops are beautiful. Definitely keep a little notebook with their sayings in. It makes for such great memories.
You should write down all the little sayings - you do forget them. Love your little Bunny - he is just beautiful.
Don’t you just love them; kids say it how it is! :0)
The snowdrops look lovely!
Love Lou xxx
oh yes write them down, they'll be great to embarrass him with when he starts bringing girlfriends home!
Kids do say the funniest things!! i have a little book which i try to write as many things as i can remember that the kids have said and done in. Its great to go back and read through it. x
Milo is so cute! It is a great idea to write down what children say, they are spontaneous and always so funny! The bunny is lovely and the snowdrop is beautiful!
I wish I'd written down the funny things the children said - I remember Dot coming and sitting next to me on the side of the bed when she was about 2 saying "look at us, sitting here like two little rabbits. I'm Benjamin Bunny and you're Peter Rabbit"
Another time when she was small she said "Please Mummy Darling Precious Fish"!!!!
Oh what a cutie! Fab idea to write down the "isms", i'm going to start doing that before I forget things. It will be lovely to look back on in years to come.
Bertie x.
Some are funnier than others though! I really must record some of ours too. We've had some crackers this week that I will so want to remind them of later in life!
Hi! I have a translator now on my blog! Thanks for the good idea again!
Kiki
Thanks to Milo for a Monday morning laugh, now I really would like to see that hairstyle!
What wonderful little snowdrops, I am always so thrilled to see them when they first appear.
x
Oh, don't you just love those little sayings! My son is eight and doesn't really have any any more, but Anna still calls the Humber Bridge the 'Humper Bridge' when we go in to Hull! We re-joined the gym this weekend and she's insisted on calling it Toteless fitness (total fitness) all weekend - quite apt since that's what I make! It's so sad when they stop - so do write them down, they're so easily forgotten.
Kids are priceless! My brother, when he was little, said to my Mum on our walk back from school 'anyway, I know where dead people go' to which my Mum replied 'where is that then?' and little brother stated 'they all go to Devon! I learnt that at school today.'
Well done with your knitting projects - you're out knitting me and I don't even have kids!!
Love the snowdrops - spring is on it's way :) x
Lovely to see some snowdrops , thank you! You really should note the Milo isms, perhaps add a new list to your sidebar? I wish I'd written down everything my girls had said when they were younger, you think you'll always remember them ,,,
Kimx

Have a good week Pat
I am trying to picture hair like a toilet roll!!! Isn't it lovely to see the snowdrops out? I took pictures this week of a few that are just coming out in my garden.
Snowdrops are just lovely when they pop up to say hello in January. Ooo and I checked out Neil Gaiman's blog - great recommendation. Thank you! C x
I'm beginning to yearn for those first buds of spring!
Keep looking up at trees and peering into bushes for them!
But they are still so small!
So love your bunny and Milo's cool glasses!
Gill

Don't you just love the things kiddies say!!! You are right, you should note them down - I always think I should be doing that!! And your bunny is just adorable! Cute as a button =]
