So Why Don't I ?

Small tree with toys and Hubs childhood tinsel in the kitchen

Black tree with copper baubles in the playroom

Traditional in the sitting room ( so hard to get decent tree pics)

Gorgeous poinsettia - gift from Hub

Some of the books read so far

A few of the films watched so far

Lovely, cosy warm fire ( hidden behind fireguard )

Santa says only 10 days left

So why don't I feel Christmassy?

It all looks lovely and Christmassy even if you don’t feel it.

I’m sure you will next week! My hubby would love it if I did not get so excited.

I hope you have a lovely week xxx

It looks VERY Christmassy! We've watched 'Miracle on 34th Street' too. I suggested The Grinch but No.2 is still a bit scared of that one. I'll watch it on my own when they're at school this week.

Hope you manage to feel a bit more festive as the dreaded day inches closer and closer!

But not feeling like Christmas, yes I am so with you on that one, don't know what it is this year, usually by now I am filled to over flowing.

It all looks so Christmassy - I don't feel it yet because I am so disorganised!

Maybe because you haven't watched one of my favorite films 'Elf' which clearly states 'the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear' .... have you been singing? x

I think a lot of us feel that way, then when you least expect it that old Christmassy feeling turns up, just hang in there.

Catching up, seems ages since I've dropped by. I love your knitted animals and Milo's cards are so sweet. Your house looks lovely and Christmassy and what a gorgeous swap. I love the Waldorf doll.

I am sure you will feel Christmassy soon. I started to feel Christmassy once the decorations went up. Your house certainly looks festive to me!

I think because we all feel that there is so much more to be done before Christmas and none of us have really started to relax into it yet ... Enjoy your lovely trees, they are so difficult to photograph, I gave up on mine

Yes fondant fancies have definitely shrunk!

Hmm, Christmas can be a tricky one can't it? Sometimes rather mixed feelings are bimbling around the old noggin. I've been finding Miss P1 has made me feel more Christmassy than I would otherwise have felt - the little ones can unmask the hidden festive spirit.

You are so decorated! Most of my stuff is still in the boxes all over the dinning and living rooms! ugh. Not feeling too much Christmas cheer over here either ... I'm trying to slow down and just enjoy.

Well perhaps your Christmas feeling is hiding among the beautiful decorations somewhere.

Love the header change. Very in keeping with the seasons. I've left you a little tag over at Dancin' Puffin.

It certainly looks more CHristmassy at your house than it does at mine. And we're in the middle of Summer (albeit a cool one). Perhaps you need to drink mulled wine or eggnog? That might bring on the xmas cheer...?

I am sure that you will get the feeling soon...once it gets to christmas eve you can do no more, but just enjoy - or try!
Your trees look lovely and very festive.
You will be ok soon...big hugs to you.
