Hands up if you remember this post from last year and the post from the year before that?
Well I'm sorry to disappoint but there won't be any aeroplane shots from this year either.
The weather is fine and the planes did fly but we didn't go today and won't be going tomorrow either.
Hub is at work all weekend and there is just no way I could take the boys on my own with crowds that big .
The fact that Gabe doesn't walk anywhere but runs and jumps doesn't help either.
Instead we went to our little part of the beach and looked down the coast to where the planes were but they were just like dots in the distance .
Oh well maybe next year - no use crying over broken eggs!!

Un-oh - are the eggs just for effect or did we really have a mishap? Sorry you didn't get to go to the air show. But what could be better than a day at the beach with those adorable little guys???
Ah yes, my boy is a "runner" at that age (and is still very unreliable in crowds too). A quiet day at the beach sounds like a much more relaxing option for mum!
I so understand not taking the boys on your own, I am the same with my two, crowds and a 'runner' = not a good idea!
Loving the haircuts from the last post.

Yes I do remember those previous posts! I am sure there will be opportunities again for the airshow. Your boys may even be flying the planes by then!!!!!!
I have one of those 'runner' children too! I'm amazed at the amount of rocks on your beach! Hope the beach was a good substitute!
We've never actually been to the airshow simply because I can't stand the crowds and the queues! The traffic through the village was mad! We did watch some of yesterday's show from the allotment (as in previous years) but today we headed off in completely the other direction and made the children walk up a mountain in Northumberland instead!
