* 49 *

Hi, it's me Kali. I'm making myself quite at home now and thought I would pop by and tell you how I'm getting on.

I just love lying in the sun especially after I'd had a play with my ball, in fact I don't really mind where I lie , I'm not fussy.

But don't let me fool you even though my eyes may be closed have you seen my big ears - I'm still listening , is it food time yet?

I've tried to make friends with Dottie but she isn't too keen you see I keep chasing her and trying to nip her tail and oh yeah... there is also the fact that I keep eating her dinner . She doesn't like that very much. Mammy says I should leave her alone as she is old but I just want to play.

This is Gabe, now he loves to play with me but I must remember that he is only little too and doesn't like being nipped either. I made him cry the other day as I caught his ankle but I didn't mean too and I will try harder - honestly I will because Gabe is my friend. The other boy Milo ,he plays with me a little bit but only when Pops is around as he's still a bit unsure.

This is my ' I'm sorry ' face ... this is mainly for mammy . She says it's a good job that we have wooden floors downstairs as sometimes, well, quite a few times I don't quite make it to the back yard for toilet and I have to be honest I have had a few accidents in my bed too. Mammy doesn't like this as she had to wash my bedding three times today !! She also says the floors have never been so clean and lemony fresh.

Oh and on Saturday she wasn't too pleased when I found her wool basket and decided to decorate my bed with nice pink wool. I did try to tell her that pink is the colour for girls but she was cross and didn't even take a photo of how nicely I had decorated.

She has forgiven me now though as she knows I'm only a baby .I'll be 10 weeks old this Thursday . On Friday I'm going for my 2nd vaccination so soon I'll be able to go for walks out into the big wide world . I'm very excited about this and I know Pops is too . Pops is my best friend. He is the one who looks after me and who gets up to see to me when I get lonely in the night . Although I haven't felt lonely for a few days now. Fingers crossed Pops will be able to get a decent nights sleep soon as he is very tired.

He is also trying to train me , I've kind of got the sit thing going on, well a little bit as I just love getting rewards when I do something right. Pops tells me I'm a good girl and gives me extra big strokes and ear rubs . He also tells me that I'm gorgeous now I have my new collar. I love to hear that as every girl likes to feel pretty sometimes. What do you think , do you think I'm gorgeous too?

If you would like I'll keep popping back with updates and photos? Oh and I nearly forgot - nice to meet you all x

HELLO! I loved reading this post, I can't wait to hear lots more about you. It might seem like a lot of hard work now, but it does get a lot easier. How could you not fall in love with that cute little face.

Kali... I can understand your disappointment at mammy not wanting to take pleasure in your finest decorating skills with the pink wool. Maybe next time you should ask first though before just taking what you need!! ;)

Kali - you are beautiful! Remember to be gentle with Gabe and Milo - not only will you all be best friends but their protector (judging by your size now at 10 wks you are going to be bigger than them here soon!). Now as for your Mama - honey - you've got to give her a break - squeeze tight and bark - she'll let you out so you can "powder your nose" ;-)

Oh Kali -- you. are. gorgeous! You sound like the perfect puppy to me -- what kind of puppyhood would it be if you didn't have accidents and get into things. We won't tell your mammy that of the three friends I have with new puppies this last year, two of them now have big holes in their sofas! I hope you have a wonderful time with those boys. Try not to knock them over when you get excited.

Please, please come back for a visit soon. I sure wish I could reach out and give you a cuddle -- you look amazingly soft. Can't wait to hear from you again!

As you can tell i'm catching up here. She is very cute I'm sure you can not stay cross at her for long, even when she does play with your wool.
