Thought that I would just share with you a few photographs from our day starting with the sunrise and crunchy frosted leaves on our way to school.

As most of you know or have guessed I don't just sell knitted items in my Etsy shop I also sell patterns, Debi Birkin patterns to be exact. But what you might not know is that I also run Debi Birkin Pals group on Ravelry.

Just in case you don't know Ravelry is a knit/ crochet forum , a free site where you can talk about allsorts, share patterns basically just about anything.

Anyway this year the group is having a KAL or knit-a-long where every month you make a Bunty Bunny relevant to that particular month. I've got January sorted ,well I will have when I find my knitting mojo but I'm a bit stuck on February . I'd really like to do something other than Valentine related but I'm completely stuck for ideas......

Plus a friend of mine gave me a lovely present today , all this gorgeous yarn which is really crying out to be made into something special...... help?

Today I was going to write about Buffy the Vampire Slayer and how I've just started re-watching all the old episodes , how I've already done Season 1 and am now watching Season 2 and am loving it every bit as much as I did the first time around.

Then I remembered this post from the same time last year which went down like a ton of bricks !! Maybe you all out there don't like the vampire thing ?

So I thought I'd give it another shot as there are so many more vampire things around now . I mean what about The Vampire Diaries ? Are you team Stefan or team Damon ? I'm definitley team Damon , it must be the bad boy thing and the dark brooding good looks.

Another of course is True Blood, the raunchiest out of the three and the one aimed at adults instead of the teen scene . What about that one? Think I'll be going for the blonde choice here.

Last but not least we have Haven , yes I know it's not vampire but it is supernatural and surprisingly enough quite a good looking cast, see the bad boy in the chair , yep that would be my fave in this one.

So I suppose the post that started off about vampires ended up being about good looking men , more often than not dark haired ones too .

So , who's your favourite bad boy and yes Anna before you say it ... this one is just for you.

Thank you for all the comments and well wishes from yesterday , I feel so much better today but I think that's just the knowing and am actually looking forward to seeing the Doctor next week .

Now back to the lovely Blog Award that I received from the very talented Mia. I haven't actually known Mia for that long really but she makes the most gorgeous bags and more recently cushions . I found her whilst doing a bit of Blog hopping which I do quite regularly. Something I love doing is going down peoples blog lists especially the ones which have the time updates on - you know the ones I mean?

Anyway , here it is. Me stylish ha ha , if only you could see me now !

I must admit finding 7 things was quite hard .

1. I am a complete techno phobe - if you don't believe me just ask Hub..

2. Apparently I have an annoying habit of saying " the " in front of things . An example is ' I saw the squirrel ' instead of ' I saw a squirrel '. Once again ask Hub!

3. I would love to have laser eye surgery but after checking it out it's just too expensive :-(

4. Occasionally I Tweet.

5. I still hate driving and I don't think it's ever going to change.

6. Hubs nickname for me is Twitchy Titchy Foot.

7. We are still wondering whether or not to get a dog , it's been near enough a year now and we still can't decide. I quite fancy a Siberian Husky or a Whippet ... Hub is going more down the lines of a German Shepherd .

So that's my 7 things.. and now the hard part of choosing 15 people to give it to ... You know what I think I'm going to do a big cop out and just award it to everyone in my sidebar as you all deserve it.

Today I had intended to blog about the lovely award I've received from Mia but I'm going to put that on hold until either tomorrow or Sunday .

The reason I've changed my mind is because I want to tell you about the blood tests I had taken a few days ago.

For months now I've been suffering from aches and pains especially in my hips and knees , I was even referred to a specialist but they couldn't find anything wrong. Now you know yourself when something is not quite right but if you're like me once you've been to the doctors about something and they say you're fine even if the problem continues you just plod on with it.

Anyhow , when I got home from work today there was a letter waiting for me with the results of one of the tests. I wasn't expecting anything for a couple of weeks never mind a couple of days .

I was actually quite happy when I saw that I had been diagnosed with something , an underactive thyroid to be precise. Finally something I can do something about and get things back on track. Hub sent me a list of symptoms and I was surprised at how many I could tick off .

• Feeling tired and sleeping a lot -- checkFeeling the cold easily -- checkDry and/or pale skin -- checkCoarse thinning hair and brittle nailsSore muscles, slow movements and weakness -- checkA hoarse or croaky voiceA change in facial expressionDepressionProblems with memory and concentration -- checkWeight gain -- checkConstipationFertility problemsHeavy , irregular or prolonged menstrual periods -- checkSlow heart rate
  Quite a list isn't it really. So next week I'm back off to the doctors and I'm thinking I'll probably be given a course of tablets to correct it. I'll let you know how it goes.
